A solar group’s year reads through its installations as much as its financial results, and one publication has to carry both. Walk Production designed the 2024 annual report for Sunview Group Berhad, a solar and renewable-energy group listed on Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market, from concept through print-ready handoff.
The scope covered concept development, layout design, visual data storytelling, and print coordination for a 200-page report on the financial year that ended March 31, 2024. Shareholders, analysts, and regulators each open the document looking for something different. A Dubai holding company or a DIFC-listed group writes for the same split readership, and one document has to serve every part of it.

Concept and Visual Design
The report’s theme is Brightening Lives with Clean Energy. The cover draws it as a light bulb holding a small papercut world: city towers, a wind turbine, houses, and solar arrays on green hills, lit from behind by an orange sun. The words “Brightening Lives” run across the lower cover in orange script, and the Sunview logo sits at the top right.
Inside, the sunlit hills return on the openers for the first two parts, The Company and The Story, and above the corporate milestones timeline. The remaining three openers move to gray backgrounds but keep large script titles in the style of the cover lettering.
Layout Design and Data Presentation
The report is organized in five parts, from The Company to Other Information. Performance Highlights leads with revenue of RM465.87 million in the largest of four circles, with net assets, awarded projects, and the unbilled order book set beside it. A four-year table of key financials and ratios follows.
Corporate Milestones places 2013 to 2024 on a two-page timeline, ending with the group’s first overseas EPCC contract, a 20 MWac solar plant in Bulgaria. Custom renewable-energy report infographic design carries the Sustainability Statement’s numbers, including a chart of quarterly revenue, net profit, and profit margin across two financial years.
Print Production Coordination
Walk Production prepared print-ready files from pre-press checks through final file handoff to the appointed printing vendor. Color accuracy, paper selection, and finishing specifications were documented to support an annual report that meets the expectations of a publicly listed company. The appointed printing vendor produced the final printed publication.
The Results
The completed report gives Sunview’s shareholders the year in a set order. Headline figures and milestones come first, followed by the Chairman’s Message, the management discussion and analysis, and the Sustainability Statement, with governance and the audited financial statements after them.
Revenue rose 34.26% to RM465.87 million. The report presents annual totals and quarterly performance. A reader can take the result at the depth they need, from a single figure to quarter-by-quarter detail.
